I have been blessed by so many things this week, but the most significant is the awareness that "allowing" has been the path to all that I ever wanted. It seems like a great paradox, but when the truth is presented I have to stand up and pay attention. I have been so amazed by the tremendous power of allowing. This has been a great gift to me and I wanted to publicly acknowledge and share this beautiful thought.
Allowing has been the path to gratitude for me. It has brought me into greater appreciation for what is in my life. It has opened my eyes to the gifts of love that have been so carefully crafted just for me. I have come to see my Heavenly Father's love in each new awareness of his influence in my life. The great gift of health, the great gift of speech, the heart warming gift of hugs. The blessing of electricity, and telephones. All of these things have always been before me, but learning to allow what is, has opened my eyes to them with tremendous gratitude. It has brought me greater happiness and joy through the increased recognition of these blessings. When difficult circumstances arise, or unexpected challenges appear to be thrown in my path, I have been able to allow these things to be, and to look at them from a perspective of gratitude and love. In doing this I have come to "see" the lesson more quickly and give thanks for it. And then just as suddenly as these things appeared, they are set free to exit my life having filled their mission of bringing me a lesson.
The way forward is in allowing and giving thanks for all that is in my life. The more I do this, the easier it becomes with practice, and I find myself moving more quickly, in the direction I really wanted to go, unimpeded by my own resistance, which used to plague my life. This great energy is beautiful to behold. It is arrayed in the colorful tapestry of God's love for me. I see in all this, that I matter, that he indeed loves, and cares for me as his son. And so I have a life of miracles; the fruit of desires expressed, belief maintained, and faithful steps taken, with great anticipation that it is coming to me, as I allow God to do his part. The result? A creation deeply rooted in love and manifested in beautiful strokes of God's hands to bless the lives of all it touches. How grateful I am for such a blessing!

ReplyDeleteMatthew 25:29
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
We have each been given what we need by a loving Father in Heaven, even if it appears to not be what we want... Allow it to be so, and give thanks, and you shall have great abundance!
