The details

Today I am particularly grateful for little details in life that I so often relegate to the bac
kground of my consciousness and take for granted. I love so many little things that make my life so much better and simply make me happy.

I am grateful for co-workers who not only sincerely care about my welfare but have my back when things get crazy and chaotic.

I am grateful that there are still gentlemen out there who will open the doors, lend me their jacket, and not only take me to dinner but at the end of the night insist that they were the lucky one at the end of the night.

I am grateful that I have diffusers that make everything smell nice.

I am grateful that my closet is full enough that I only have to do laundry once a week, and when I do, I have a washer and dryer in my apartment.

 I am grateful for roommates who leave me dinner in the fridge and do all the dishes when they know I have had a long day.

I am grateful for hair elastics. Because I use them, all.the.time. And they make my life so much better.

I am SoOoOoOoOo grateful for my car which not only runs like a dream but keeps me warm and safe from the elements, gets me where I need to go in a timely manner, and will allow me to  COME HOME FOR THANKSGIVING!!!!!! :) :) :) (and Christmas.)

I am grateful for sisters who remind me how amazing I am, how much they love me, and how humorous most situations in life really are on a daily basis.

And last for today but not least, I am grateful for indoor plumbing and hot water. Which were both truly, divinely, inspired.
